Father, I come to Your throne of mercy today in Jesus Name. I desire to enter into your
rest today. Help me Father to be diligent to enter in and not fall according to the
example of disobedience of those that perished in the wilderness.
Your Word is living and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword. It pierces to
the division of my soul and spirit and the joints and marrow of my being and discerns
the thoughts and intents of my heart. There is nothing hidden from Your sight and all my
ways are naked and open to Your eyes and I am accountable to You.
I thank You that I have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus
Christ the Son of God and I make my confession of faith in Him and come boldly to Your
throne of grace to obtain the mercy and grace I so desperately need today.
Father, I am ashamed to admit that I have become dull in hearing and though by this
time I ought to be teaching, I need to be taught again of the first principles of the oracles
of God and have come to need milk and not solid food.
Father, in so many areas of my walk with You, I feel like a babe, unskilled in the word of
righteousness and deeply desire to mature to the full age expected of me that by reason
of use, I should have my senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
Father, my desire is to learn, understand and leave the elementary principles of Christ
and move on to perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead
works and of faith toward You, of the the doctrine of baptisms, laying on of hands, of
resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.
Father, please keep me from being counted amongst those who fall away, who were
once enlightened, and having tasted Your heavenly gift,Your good Word and the power
of the ages to come and having been a partaker of the Holy Spirit, crucifying again for
themselves the Son of God, putting Him to open shame.
Father, I know that You are not unjust to forget my work and labor of love toward Your
Name in ministering to the saints and continue to do so through Your grace. Help me
Father, to show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end. Help me
not to become sluggish but instead to imitate those who through faith and patience
inherit the promises.
Father, it is impossible for You to lie, therefor I have strong consolation and have refuge
in You and lay hold of the hope that is set before that is an anchor of my soul, both sure
and steadfast that allows me to enter into Your Throne of grace boldly because of my
forerunner, Jesus Christ, who entered for me and all the saints having become High
Priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek!
Hallelujah! Praise Your Holy Name! I give thanks to You my Father in Jesus and the
Holy Spirit. You are forever to be praised and I proclaim Your Goodness today and
receive it with gladness!
Amen!
