Praying through Galatians

Praying through Galatians

Dear God my Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, Your grace and peace I receive today
because You gave Yourself up for my sins and rescued me from this present evil age!
All according to Your will oh God my Father to whom be the glory forevermore- Amen!
Help me not to turn away and desert You oh God. You have called me by the grace of
Christ. Keep me from those who would disturb me and who want to distort the gospel of
Christ. Help me to know and understand that even if any man or even an angel from
heaven should preach to me a gospel contrary to what I have received from You, he is
to be accursed!

Help me always to seek Your favor and not the favor of men. I want to be a bondservant
of Christ alone. You have set me apart, even from my mothers womb and You
gave me revelation knowledge and understanding of Jesus Christ. I was formerly a
sinner, lost and sinning against You, through ignorant religious hypocrisy and
ungodliness. But when You oh God, called me through Your grace and it pleased You to
reveal Your Son, Jesus to me so that I might preach the Good News to others and have
a testimony that I was once lost and an enemy of God but have now been reconciled to
You my God, through the cross and by the blood of Jesus Christ my Lord that others
would glorify You because of this, my testimony.
Father, help me to maintain my liberty in Christ and to resist anyone who would try to
bring me back into bondage through the works of the law rather than through grace and
faith in Christ. Help me also to always remember the poor and less fortunate and do
good to them when it is in my power to do so.
Father, help me to always be straight forward with the Gospel and not to be hypocritical
in the fear of religious men rather than God. I know that a man is not justified by the
works of the law but through faith in Christ Jesus and I have believed in Christ Jesus
that I may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the Law. I know that by
the works of the law no flesh will be justified and that through the Law I died to the Law,
so that I might live to God. I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who
live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the
Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me!
Keep me from ever nullifying Your grace by believing or even thinking that
righteousness comes through the law and therefore deeming Christ’s death as
needless! Don’t ever let me fall from your grace oh God!
Father, keep me from the foolishness of ever thinking that I can become perfected in the
flesh after having begun by the Spirit by hearing and receiving with faith. Father, I thank
You that You have provided Your Spirit to me and You do miracles amongst us by our
hearing in faith and not by our works of the Law.
Father, just as Abraham believed You and it was reckoned to him as righteousness, I
too choose to be those of faith and to be a son of Abraham and am blessed with him,
the believer. Thank You God for the gift of faith!
Father, before faith came, I was in custody under the law, being shut up to the faith. It
was my tutor in order to lead me to Christ so that I would be justified by faith. And now
that faith has come to me, I am no longer under a tutor and I am now one of Your sons
through faith in Christ Jesus! I have been baptized into Christ and have clothed myself
with Christ and belong to Christ and because of this I am a descendant of Abraham and
an heir according to promise! I thank You Lord that in Christ there is neither Jew nor
Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; that we are
all one in Christ Jesus!
Father, I thank You that You sent forth Your Son, born of a woman, born under the Law,
so that He would redeem me being under the Law that I would receive the adoption as a
son and because I am a son, You gave me Your Spirit in my heart and I cry out to You
“Abba! Father!” Thank You God my Father that through You I am no longer a slave, but
a son and an heir!
Father, keep me from turning back again to weak and worthless elemental things when I
did not know You and was a slave to those which by nature are no gods. I thank You
that I am known by You and pray that Christ would be formed in me as a child of
promise who is born of the Spirit.
Father, I know that it was for freedom that Christ set me free, Please help me to keep
standing firm and not to be subject to a yoke of slavery and seek to be justified by the
Law. Keep me from falling from Your grace oh God!
Father, through Your Spirit and by faith I am waiting for the hope of righteousness. I
know that in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything, but
faith working through love is everything!
Father God, help me to run well and keep from being hindered from obeying the Truth.
Help me to adopt no other view knowing that; the one who hinders the Truth by
disturbing the brethren with such persuasion will bear his judgment. For I know that I am
called to freedom.
Help me Lord, not to turn my freedom into an opportunity for the flesh, but instead,
through love, to serve by brothers and sisters in Christ and love my neighbor as myself.
Father, keep me from backbiting, complaining and grumbling against my brothers and
sisters and take care that I am not consumed by this or by anyone who abides in these
evil things.
Help me Lord, to walk by the Spirit and not carry out the desire of the flesh. I know that
these are opposed to one another so that I may not do the things that I please. Lead me
by Your Spirit that I may not be under the Law. Father, I put to death the deeds of the
flesh which are immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife,
jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions, envying, drunkenness,
carousing, and things like these. I take heed to the warning that those who practice
such things will not inherit the Kingdom of God! Lord, save me!
Holy Spirit, bear Your fruit in me. Empower me in the Love of God, fill me with the joy of
thy Salvation, fill me with the Peace, Long-suffering and Patience of Jesus. Infuse me
with kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and especially, self control! I yield to
You, oh Holy Spirit of God, let me not be a grief to You!
Father, now that I belong to Christ Jesus, I crucify my flesh with its passions and
desires. I purpose to live by the Spirit, I purpose also to walk by the Spirit. Keep me
from being boastful and prideful in challenging and envying my brothers and sisters.
Forgive me when I fall into such things! Oh Father, I fall short of Your glory! Thank You
for Your forgiveness and gift of Christ!
Father, when I see anyone who is caught in a trespass, if I consider myself to be
spiritual, help me to restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness looking out to myself so
that I too will not be tempted. Help me to bear with the burdens of others and fulfill the
Law of Christ. Let me not think of myself as something when I am nothing and so
deceive myself. But instead help me to examine my own work in Truth and then I will
have reason for boasting in myself alone and not in regard to another. I understand that
I will bear my own load in regards to this.
When I am taught the Word, I will share all good things with the one that teaches me.
Father, I know that You will not be mocked and whatever I sow that I will also reap and if
I sow to my flesh, then from my flesh reap corruption. But if I sow to the Spirit, then from
the Spirit, I will reap eternal life!
Lord, help me not to lose heart in doing good, because I know that in due time, I will
reap if I do not grow weary. Help me Lord that while I have the opportunity to do good to
all people, let me be a doer of good and especially to those that are of the household of
the faith. Oh God, make me a doer and not a hearer only!
Father, help me to never try to make a good show in the flesh to avoid being persecuted
for the cross of Christ. Keep me from hypocrisy and self righteousness! May I never
boast in anything in or of the flesh but only in the cross of my Lord Jesus Christ through
which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world!
Thank You Father, that i am a new creation in Christ and as I walk by this rule, Your
peace and mercy will be upon me and upon the Israel of God! – AMEN!
