Father in heaven, Holy is Your Name.
Help me to pay much closer attention to what I have heard, so that I won’t drift away
from it. Help me not to neglect so great a salvation which You have provided for me in
Your Son Jesus.
You have subjected all things to him and left nothing that is not subject to him, You
made him a little lower than the angels and because of the suffering of death was
crowned with glory and honor. By Your grace He tasted death for me to bring me and
many sons to glory that through sufferings He is the perfect author and finisher of my
salvation.
You are God the Father who sanctifies and I am sanctified in Jesus and He is not
ashamed to call me his brother therefore I will sing praises with Him and proclaim Your
Name to my brothers in the midst of the congregation and put my trust in Him and I
thank You for the privilege of being Your child.
I thank You that Jesus conquered and rendered the devil powerless over death and
freed me from the slavery and fear of death. I thank You that Jesus was made like me in
all things and was tempted in every way yet without sin and because He suffered he is
now able to come to my aid when I am tempted. He is my merciful and faithful high
priest in things pertaining to You, my Father. and I worship and Thank You for this.
I will consider Jesus today, the Apostle and high Priest of my confession who is faithful
as a Son in all of Your house, whose house I am a part of.
Father, please help me to hold fast my confidence and the boast of my hope firm until
the end and not to harden my heart today when I hear Your voice. Help me Lord, not to
have an evil and unbelieving heart that falls away from the living God but instead to be
encouraged and to encourage my brothers day after day as long as it is still called
“Today” so that none of us will be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.
Thank You Father that I have, with all who believe, have become partakers of Christ.
Help us to hold fast the beginning of our assurance firm until the end and walk in the
fear of the Lord that we may not fall short of entering into Your rest through faith and
obedience.
Today I make my confession of faith in my High Priest, Jesus the Son of God and I hold
fast my confession and I draw near with confidence to the throne of grace to receive
mercy and find grace to help in my time of need.
“Today”, I thank You, Father, “Today” I bless You Father, “Today” I need You Father,
“Today” I cry out to You for mercy and grace in Jesus Name – Amen.
Amen!
